First exposed to SCUBA Diving in the late 1980’s when a good friend became Open Water certified, it was a little over a decade before I, a confident transfeminine girl, ‘took the plunge.’ When I did, well it was nothing short of ‘head-first’ into the ‘deep end’ where my passion for Photography met nature’s underwater world, and new adventures began ...

| SCUBA ReActivate | ReActivate is an efficient way to revisit your overall scuba skills, especially if you have not dived for more than 12 months. Pool & Confined Water Skills
Several of the courses above utilize swimming pool or 'confined water' sessions. This is done to provide a safe learning environment, away from heavy currents, waves and swell. It also means there are no 'nasties' lurking on the bottom that scare some people - you can relax and concentrate on learning.
Whilst every effort is made to utilize a pool near you, many public pools do not facilitate contract courses. This, together with when greater depth is required means that I utilize the Crater Lakes on the Atherton Tablelands (under QPWS Permit). This may mean some travel is required but costs are kept to a minimum plus adds an wonderful environmental experience to the course.

Personal & Hire Gear
Some gear is included, some can be hired at nominal cost. 'Personal gear' (ie mask, snorkel, fins and exposure/Sun suit & swimwear) is now required due to Covid19 restrictions and always recommended for comfort and fit.
Certifications & Cancellations
Most courses are PADI Based and Certifications and/or Certificates are included in the cost unless otherwise indicated. PADI Fees are required up-front and are not refundable (due to 3rd party policies). Other changes to courses are negotiable.
